Warren Buffett is an American businessman and investor.  He was at the top of the Forbes 500 richest people in the world in 2008 and fell to number 2 in 2009 behind Sir William Gates III as his fortune plunged from $62 billion to $37 billion in only 12 months.  Even the "Oracle of Omaha" isn't immune to the current financial crisis.
