On this day in 1743, Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States, was born. He'd be celebrating his 266th birthday. That's a lot of candles. Jefferson's face can be found on the $2 bill, my third favorite piece of currency... behind the $100 Benjamin Franklin and $50 Ulysses S. Grant. On the back of the $2 bill you can find a mural of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, my 2nd favorite document... trailing only my birth certificate.
